The New Jersey Devils’ lengthy losing streak at home continues. This time they fell to the St. Louis Blues 5-3, despite Vladimir Tarasenko and Ryan O’Reilly both being out with injuries. On the bright side, Ondrej Palat is finally back from injury and Jack Hughes was named an all-star once again. I believe a simple change of the lineup (involving both Haula and Palat) can go a long way for Lindy Ruff.

The whole team is snakebitten and makes little sense to me, other than it being a result of poor goalkeeping and line combinations. So… a coaching issue?
Lost for words. This is frustrating. We’re dominating most of these games yet keep losing and look extremely inconsistent. Jack is about the only one that is consistent and him alone can’t carry us to the playoff’s. Our depth has been non existent. We need to turn this around now with the rest of the team waking up. One positive is that Palat is back and that should boost morale but Palat will need some time to get back into it. We need others stepping up.
Reason we need Haula on Hughes line is because we need him to play true center.
Such a frustrating lose it’s like they fell off a cliff after the blues tied it up again but the team needs a better goalie Blackwood is just hurt all the time
The Devils suckkkk sheesh it is so hard to be a fan of them, this is so frustrating and it’s very hard to watch them etc… & we lost to the Blues there main goal scorers are out and somehow we lost, The Blues are one of the worst teams so this stinks… & we may lose to the Rangers tomorrow.
I was at the Prudential Center last night this was my first game of this year & HUGHES was the only great part about last night, seeing Palat come back is great too & The Devils should of won….. I’m not confident that we will beat the Rangers at our home tomorrow, Rangers keep winning we can’t even get on a winning streak this sucks :(…..
Need more Offense not enough being produced not enough goals being scored it sucks….
