Typical Montreal media, PLD and Monahan conspiracy. They get worse and worse and there is no need to listen to them, all about the $$$'s
PLD sounds like locker room cancer….not sure about him.
Habs are going to have a problem in the coming years as they will have to much high end talent wanting the money they need the group to be like the Boston players take a discount so they can fill out the team and play for the cup
If P L D wants to play with the habs then we should be patient and wait for him rather than giving up a solid power forward which can possibly give us a better return before the trade deadline going to the Devils or a team looking to give up a lot for him
We have no reason to trade for Dubois.
If the jets don't want to sign a 1 year deal, then a team will offersheet a 1 year deal, and if he signs it either if the jets accept or not we'll still get him after next season. We could even be the team to offersheet him.
"Hey PLD, we're gonna offersheet you for 1 year, all you have to do is sign it and you're confirmed to come next year"

No reason we should trade for PLD, sign him in free agency. He wants to come here, we want him, it's perfect. The Jets can want all they want for him but beggars can't be choosers, they'd be lucky to recoup anything for him at this stage given his contract situation, their best chance is selling him as a rental at the deadline.
Just a bargaining strategy from PLD. How many players used MTL to raised their value… i am not falling for this.
A similar situation happened in Winnipeg a few years ago. Trouba said he wanted out to play for the Rangers only. They traded him for a 20th overall pick and a young top 4 defenseman to the NYR. And guess who were the two GM involved? Cheveldayoff for Winnipeg and Gorton for NY.
If Anderson isn't traded by march 3rd, could be a possiblity Dubois for Anderson ?? we will see
Do not deal Monohan. Good on face offs, responsible in all three zones. Habs have been looking for quality centers for decades. Suzuki definitely not a #1 center, so Monohan can help fill in that void. U guys know I really like Kovasevic. He deserves more ice time; not the hitter Xhehaj is , doesn’t skate like Harris does, and I think we agree Guhle is a keeper, but I seldom see Kovasevic make mistakes. U guys do a great job.by the way; the only podcast I watch.
forget Jonathan Drouin. It is over in mtl. why play him? his value is 0 right now. that says a lot no? maybe next year a team could invite him at training camp but time will tell.
the 31 year old Belzile is the type of hard working player. he deserves a better opertunity .
Wouldn't Anderson and PLD on the same team be a better way to go? This Habs team is not likely Playoff bound next season, so let Winnipeg pay his salary next season and sign him as a UFA in '25. But with Dach, Suzuki and a host of Center prospects in the '23 draft is the Habs Management even interested in adding PLD? Not to mention that Beck looks like a solid two-way Center who could project to a top 2 Center. Josh is a depth player that helps a team go deep in the Playoffs and I think the price will be more than any GM is willing to pay to get him out of MTL.

You're right, interesting information on the chart yet at the same time misleading in ways. Harvey-Pinard's points might be a bit of an anomaly but if his play remains solid and quality scoring chances created he'll at least finish the season. If he gets on the scoresheet reasonably consistently too there's good chance he'll have earned himself a spot on the roster next season.
