Despite being heavily outshot, the Red Wings kept the quality of the shots by the Calgary Flames down, only allowing 2 high danger shots at 5v5 all game long. It was certainly one of their best defesive efforts of the season led by Ben Chiarot who looked great with the eye test, blocking 6 shots. Ville Husso played fantastic as well makes 35 saves and posting a 1.54GSAx. Then you have our goal scorers, Dylan “Who wants to be a millionaire” Larkin converted on a Detroit powerplay. And Filip Zadina, in his first game back from injury, scored his 1st of the season for the game winner on a beautiful tic-tac-toe pass with Oskar Sundqvist. #lgrw

All three penalties against them were weird calls. Hronek wasn't holding, he was pushing the guy. Chiarot got the puck when he slid, and the slash was only called because the stick broke, but he might have saved a goal.

We got out shot by a lot but the flames are known for shooting everything. Wings are clearly trying to find the perfect shot not just shooting whenever they can
