Flames beat the Sabres 7-2
Wild game, first was ugly but they tightened up and played a solid last 40 minutes. Pelletier with his first NHL goal, Gilbert with his first as a Flame and Dube with a four point day.

As much as I am not giving up on the Flames season, I don’t think this is a good year to buy at the deadline. I think the risk of them missing the playoffs, or losing in the first round, are too high to give up good assets on rentals or older players.
Dillon Dube was an absolute monster yesterday
And I have no idea who to pick for the Super Bowl because I don’t watch football, so I guess Kansas City?
I just want to enjoy the game threads when the team is down without having to scroll through waves of people bitching to blow the team up or fire the coach. Way too over reactionary these days, just enjoy the sport.
Gotta cheer for the team in Flames colours.
