Anze Kopitar, Jonathan Quick, and Drew Doughty will be the next Kings to have their jerseys retired once they're done from the Cup era Kings bet on it.
Oilers fan here who has lived in LA for the past 7 years. The Kings have become an adopted team for me and Dustin Brown was always my favorite King, and I really miss watching you play live. May the next chapter of your wonderful life bring you countless joy and success Captain.
Was at Meet the Players at Dodger Stadium. Was in Dustin's line when it was time to shut down. The usher working the line asked Dustin if he wanted to go. He waved the line in without hesitation. Kings legend. My 50th Anniversary jersey is Brown. He was the first King to lift the Cup so it had to him. Thank you for the memories Dustin.
The most well deserved jersey retirement ever!! He did something Vachon, Dionne, Taylor, Gretzky, Robitaille and Blake never did. Bringing a Stanley Cup to LA……TWICE!!! Congrats Brownie!!!
I was just a little kid when he made his NHL debut in 2003. Here we are now, and Dustin Brown gets to have his number up in the rafters with the other greats!
I held a lot of frustration on the organization taking his c and for how things ended down the stretch. All of those thoughts disappeared. You got it right tonight. Absolutely incredible ceremony.
Sign that kid!!! Man brownie looks good and young. For someone who hit that many guys and played so hard I would think he could barely walk. Sutter taking away his captaincy was stupid. Dude was clearly the leader. kopi was the point leader. Brown is a playoff beast and the hit on #1 seed sedin was awesome
Brownie, absolutely amazing speech and kind words all around. You made it possible for us fans to carry our heads up high and to be dayum proud to be a Kings fan. Thank you for everything you've done for the sport and the organization and thank you for the 2 cups I waited for since I was kid at the forum. Forever King Brownie
Congratulations Brownie, man been a Kings fan since 93, saw him come into the league and saw him retire. Such a blast to watch him play. God bless you and thank you for the finally bringing the gear to L.A. 🏆🏆 💪🏽😎.
Congratulations Brownie! Much love and admiration for all you've done for the Kings family! ❤️🏒 CHEERS 🥂
Also, thanks to the current team roster for playing an incredible game on this night against the Penguins…a shut-out win to make his night even more memorable! 💕
Was never a major Kings fan but I’ve been a fan of Brownie for a while and this was one of the most emotional moments I’ve experienced as a hockey fan. Congratulations and thank you for being one of the greatest hockey players of all time. #GOAT

He lifted the Stanley cup once again after 11 years winning at the first time

Error on the best part 56:30
I cried when he hoisted the cup that first time. Kings are gunna have to retire 32 8 and 11 at some point too.
"Viewership numbers are down dramatically! What gives???" NHL doesn't air this game nationally

Hail to the King. Brownie was the glue that took them to those two Cups (and three straight WCFs)
I miss Willie Mitchell.
This ceremony was awesome.

This 2003 Draft class has another member get their jersey retired, and many more to come

Well deserved Brownie!! GKG
Making money is an action. Keeping money is behavior. Growing money is knowledge…..
What the F was the red screen IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CUP LIFT??
I became a Kings fan during the 2011-2012 season and didn't realize how lucky I was to see Brown play at his peak. GKG!
