    The last play was really annoying. Montour almost gets two in from the point which was something they have not really done that game and then they decided to do that bumper pass shot from the slot that they have been trying all game that never worked, or it was a terrible cross ice pass. Either way there was like 4 Avalanche players clogging the slot and they still were so persitent on getting that play off when they could have just continued to let Montour rip them which was working a lot better but whatever. Also with the defense, Colorado would just shuffle players around on our zone and skate fast leaving everyone scrambled and confused on where their man went leaving them just standing still. This has happened so many times this season and if thats all that takes for teams to best them defensively they are screwed.

    Your 52yr old elder Av fan here. I’m not sure the Avs are even going to make the playoffs. Everyone getting injured again. Both teams struggling this season.

    It’s weird we play better when either or both Ekblad and Barkov don’t play. It was nice to see Barkov get a goal but he had multiple opportunities right in front of the goal and guess what he did? Pass the f’ ng puck.
