i know he’s been doing well, didn’t realize he was killing that hard though.

This is skewed a little bit because for some reason Linus Ullmark isn’t in espns stats area. He’s got a 1.90 GAA and .937 save percentage.

That said, Gus bus is still killing it this year.

You know who isn’t in the top 5 for either stat? Fleury. I want to ride the Gus Bus a little more in the 2nd half of the year.

it continues to be disproportionately irritating that the NHL doesn’t actually list %ages. Those numbers are per 1, not per 100

  5. I’ve said it a bunch of times. But I don’t even need numbers, just seeing how calm and confident he is, and how that visibly has the team playing better in front of him is enough for me. Gus has been so good.

Gus has great game and everyone’s all board the sit McFlurry train when I’ve been saying all year he’s washed

I don’t understand why we don’t start Gus more often.

My first impression of Gus was “disaster” and “acquired to tank”. Credit to him for turning it all the way around and reminding me that I have no fucking business judging goaltenders..

The only negative is that, aside from samsonov, jarry and swayman, he has played 10+ less games than everyone on these lists

Another thing that’s really impressive is that it hasn’t mattered how long it’s been since Gus has started, he still comes in and plays great. Some goalies really struggle after too many days off. Going forward I hope he gets more starts. There’s no reason why he shouldn’t be getting regular playing time. Flower was playing better when he was in a regular rotation with Gus too. Hopefully they go back to that rotation that they claimed wasn’t a rotation.
