That game was dogshit. Playing that loosely in front of an ahl goalie. Second period outshot 21-11 😆 what a joke. Justin holl was unforgivable 😆 he can't be starting in the first round of the playoffs, just horrendous.

I love how Sheldon thinks the Engvall line was the best tonight. 😆. Calle Jarnkrok is the only player in the bottom 6 with any semblance of skill. The other 5 guys are bringing him down. So who is Dubas going to trade for to insert energy and get some points?

The last Columbus goal looked like a high stick to me and if the leafs did a video replay and won the call it would be 1 point possibly , a tie game and possibly a win minutes later.
It was supposed to be 46 game winning streak which would end in June…didnt even get 2!!!!
When you blow a 2-0 lead after 1st period and then down 3-2 after 2nd period then to lose 4-3. This is like the playoffs blowing leads now Sadening.

They played a good first period and then they took the rest of the night off, Woll looked shaky but his teammates are an embarrassment to the organization at times!

Based on the pathological nature of this team – being outhit in every game, losing to lesser teams, etc. – they will most definitely lose in the opening round of the playoffs. The DNA of the Kyle Dubas-Sheldon Keefe Leafs is well known – talented but soft, repetitive results against lesser teams and repetitive results against well-structured, well-disciplined, physical teams when it matters the most, in the playoffs.
They learn nothing from their experiences.
The consistency and depth of their pathology is remarkable. This will only change with a new GM and Coach. Fresh eyes, ideas, tactics.
PS Mitch Marner played 28 minutes tonight. 28 minutes in a February game against the team with the worst record in the league. Keefe is an idiot of epic proportions. No imagination. No ability on how to use his bench. No ability in challenging his bottom half foot soldiers.

Sheldon failed bench management. It’s not only about systems and training. It’s about coaching… Personally I think Sheldon had the opportunity to call a time out in the second. At the face off in TOR end After CB tide the game . That failed team management decision cost the game. The game momentum changed that was a big 2 points that should have been booked. Big guns Marner, JT were tired extending time on the ice. Little team management at that point was the difference. Sheldon got out coached by TB last year. That point in last nights game was a coaching error.

Giving up 21 shots in the 2nd and then 15 in the 3rd is unacceptable. To many selfish penalties and lazy efforts in this one. Glad they didn't comeback, they didn't deserve a point and a loss in regulation stings a lot more when its against the Jackets after being up 2-0. This is the lack of character and pushback we continually see. Unfortunately, Dubas is more concerned with proving he's correct in running it back than fixing what they need. He was gifted a young talented team and not improved the team, they'll be gaining respect 1st round handshake line again..

I think this team has a team conditioning issue. Yes these guys are athletes and are in good shape but for playing at the NHL pro standard I think some of them can't handle the amount of ice time there getting. This team always struggles in the 1st 10 games of season is one indicator. They get smoked.After last years TB game 7 loss the team looked really gased. I think some guys are getting too much ice time. During a game in reality the intensity level is never going to be the same but this team looks at least in my opinion they are gased roo much on shifts. Maybe long shifts are a problem. One issue with this team is when they play the habs…esp last game. It looked like they threw in the towel in 2nd and most of third. Its like they don't want to get shown up by a team that has alot of AHL players on it…despite them being good. The habs record is almost 500 and they don't have alot of top players on the team. Its true every team isn't going win all the time but it depends on how you win and lose games in the end.

If ur able to seperate the 2 (which everyone in the world should be capable of) then its not immoral to play with rage on the ice when necessary. Its an assumed agreement that the depth of morality is different from real life within them 60 mins or more on the ice…i mean u know the line.
