If the rumor of Vrana getting called up is true and Raymond returns for Wednesday, what’s your lineup look like? I’d take Kubalik out and put Raymond back on the first line then stick Vrana with Suter and Zadina and take Sundqvist out.

Playoff or no playoff this season has been a great success in terms of rebuilding. Seider Raymond both look like future stars. Ras Veleno have both taken huge jumps in their play. Berggren Soderbloom both look like definite pieces moving forward. Edvinsson Johansson getting ready to improve the D core soon. Cossa starting to find his groove. Future is Bright and I expect another jump up the standings next year. Go Wings
I have a few inside sources (a magic 8 ball and the bottom of a Tim’s cup) that tell me a Larkin deal is imminent, but Bertuzzi is basically gone at this point.
These were the same guys that leaked Maurice Siedel and Elmer Supershoes to the Wings in 2019, so I have every reason to believe it.
Imagine telling someone a year and a half ago Rasmussen would be on pace for ~40 even strength points this season.
Anyone else notice how much better the Wings media team is under Yzerman? Their socials are run SO much better than they used to be under Holland.

About halfway through my run yesterday, I looked at my watch to check my pace and rolled my ankle on a big ass rock. I was so pissed.
Hurt like hell at first and I was still about a mile from home so had to walk home. But after a minute or so, it felt fine. And thankfully there’s no pain today so I think I avoided injury. Still pissed though

Vrana coming back raises some questions.
Is someone getting traded? Is someone getting sent down? Is Raymond more hurt than we thought and getting put on LTIR?
Look im not saying that Bertuzzi will land a 1st at the deadline but Friedman says that Barbashev will get a 1st or a 2nd + prospect and I think we can do some math.

I guess a few people here really don’t like the idea of someone not freaking out over Cossa. Pointing out that Wallstedt is an experienced pro is apparently a no-go.

Capitals play Carolina, Florida, Carolina again, and Detroit over the next week. With Ovi going out for personal reasons this week could be make or break for their season. If losing Ovi means they go on a losing streak their grip on the wildcard spot could quickly slip. I’m not a playoff truther for our Wings team but it’ll be interesting to see how this stretch plays out for Washington
