  1. Laf and Kakko have been playing great with there recent 15-20 game stint points have been coming and they are more noticeable out there with Chytil they are starting to breakout and given they don’t get much ice time they are developing in the timeline that was expected, don’t expect superstars but expect high end top line talent by the time they are in there prime

  2. Give him a chance for a fourth or fifth rounder but no one is really going to give them anything of note for him. Maybe even pick him up on a waiver claim.

  3. U have made solid statements about this prospect, he is definitely not doing himself any favors, by whining, now he has a attitude problem, perceived or real, nobody has time to waste on a player like this, but it's worth a risk if the asking price is low enough, on a rebuilding team, playoff team, not!!!

  4. Two things I want to see from DRW during TDL, Deal Bert and get Kravtsov on the team. In this case, two different trades are required, and the price for Kravtsov cannot be anything other than a 1st round pick. It is possible to protect that choice e.i top 10 pick and so on or you make a more complex deal here which would be several picks and so on. He has a value, that's for sure, and the question is what two parties are willing to give and receive.

The last time Rangers and Red Wings made a deal, it was to move a defender and his contract for "future considerations" if I'm not completely wrong. That Kravtsov has something under the surface is not difficult to see. However, today he is in a team that is scary deep, some of the best games I see this year are Rangers involved in.

The wings is a very good choice partly because he comes to an organization that today does not have great expectations, other than to play meaningful games as far as possible this year.

His age is perfect as he fits the other talents we have and will get next year e.i. His offensive prowess will also be his Achilles heel as the Wings do everything to improve their defensive side. Forming him into a new team I don't see as a big problem. I haven't been following Ranger so I don't know exactly if it's really just his lack of defensive sides being the downsides here. Ranger's is scary deep though

  5. Most top prospects and draft picks go to rebuilding teams, get top 6/top 4 minutes, and are on PP1. Laf, Kakko, Chytil, Andersson, Kravtsov, and Lundkvist never got this. Their development has been stunted for sure but the first 3 I mentioned have actually shown they belong. Kravtsov needs to leave and NYR need to bite the bullet and get whatever they can for him.

  6. How the hell is Rangers number 1? They are 6th in the league standings. 6th is not the best. LOL.

  7. Hmm wonder if they would trade him and a second rd for Macabe. I rather trade Kane to LA for their 1st and Turcott.
