I feel like we're at least a decade or more away from COMPETENT leadership within Hockey Canada and their youth programs, when it comes to ensuring they erase the notion that other skin colours are weird or wrong. It's 2023 and I'm STILL hearing of infractions as far down as age 10. The parents need to be educated on what behavioral expectations their child need to have, and if they can't agree to that, well, their kid better be good at math and science because racism in sports is BS.
Totally AGREE, if ONE can do the "job" doesnt matter what race/colour—ALL the same….BUT still in reality I think there is better races at certain sports—just a FACT….eg: I find it hard to know of a good/great running back in the NFL that is "white" …..as in NHL ….not many blacks or asians or East Indians have the skill that that whites do
