P.K. Subban returned to Smashville for a special homecoming celebration with the Nashville Predators. Before the game, P.K. spoke with the media about a number of different topics, including the now-famous Shea Weber trade that brought him from the Montreal Canadiens to Nashville. He also shares details on the group chat he still shares with Preds past and present, and why he calls his three seasons in Nashville some of the best of his career.
As for the game itself, the Preds fell to the Arizona Coyotes 4-2, the Yotes’ first road win in three months. We discuss why the Preds are suddenly looking “fresca flat” during games, grade Phil Tomasino’s season debut, and wonder if a massive shake-up is needed to change the team’s fortunes.
