It's funny to hear the differing views on the hit from the Devil announcers to the Flyer announcers. I'm not a fan of either team but I thought Hughes was defenseless and the hit was high to his head. Just my opinion. Keith Jones didn't think so I guess from listening to his comments. Hughes needs to put on some weight and muscle soon!

I think it was honourable of Palmieri to defend Jack like that, he knows Jack is young and smaller so that hit may have been a little more extra than necessary (just my opinion). I appreciate what Palmieri did and don’t think Jack needs any hate for this. He’ll live and learn.
PS. The helmet was strapped just probably not tight enough. He doesn’t have to wear a cage anymore so he probably enjoys the freedom of a looser helmet.
