I mean, itā€™s basically Taylor Hall all over again.

Heā€™s basically said Toronto or NY Rangers. Period.

    Whatā€™d Boston pay for Hall? 2nd + mid-tier prospect?

Itā€™s probably something like that here.

If I was Chicago I would try and pull off what Shanahan/Lou Lamoriello did with Olli Jokinen. Which is trade Kane to either the NYR or TML and accept some ā€œdeadweightā€ roster players (neither team really have any, but a guy like Kerfoot, Engvall, or Holl) then flip that player to another contender to actually recoup some assets.

So something like Kane for Engvall + Holl + 2nd + Robertson, then flip Engvall and Holl for maybe a 3rd and 2nd, respectively.

Toronto would never find a team willing to help out Toronto but theyā€™d gladly take quality help off Chicago.

That way Chicago in theory gets two 2nds, a 3rd, and Nick Robertson for Kane, but Toronto also frees up $4.25M in cap space ahead of the deadline meaning they can add more than just Kane.

Bro really said the rangers or nobody

  3. Leafs6991

Heā€™s going to the leafs. Fuck rangers.

  4. Double_Reward230

Canā€™t blame him! Not sure what Bo has been smoking lol

  5. Hopfit46

He will get booed off the island next time he’s there….” FUCK YOU, WE DONT NEED YOU”. Its the long island version of crying in your beer.

  6. Reminder, Panarin took less money to sign with the NYR over the fish sticks.

2 team’s and is now fucked, lower your cup expectation patty can ask for trade top top 5 teams instead just 2.

  8. chrisnavillus

Isnā€™t he a UFA after this season? Seems to me being an asshole to the organization that drafted him and built around him to win 3 cups would lower his value to other organizations when he hits the open market. Take the 3 month vacation to play for a team that wants to win and then sign with whoever you want ya dbag.

Don’t worry Patrick Lou won’t ask you anyway, you’re done.

Wow I never wouldā€™ve thought fans of other teams would be so pissy about Kane. He should just stay in Chicago at this point lol, he seems comfortable teaching young guys and not having to stress too much about winning. Plus his family is here, pretty much every home game he skates up to his son and waves at/interacts with him during pre game warm up, maybe Iā€™m too much of a redditor looking too deep, but I think he wants to stay.

Well he didn’t do himself any favors with his performance last night against Toronto. He had brief flashes of Patrick Kane but he certainly was not moving like everything was okay.

  12. bippityboppityzopp

He’s got more interest in Toronto than NY

  13. Archiebonker12345

Let him rot in Chicago for a few more seasons.

  14. Grizz709

Can someone explain to me why Kane isn’t interested in playing for the Sabres? I mean he’s from Buffalo, and if the Sabres are in the middle of a “rebuild” (though I think they’re in a decent spot now) there could be value in a trade with them somehow?

  15. SweetWithHeat

Oh you thought he meant New York as a city

  16. Ok_Mud_3985

Ouch šŸ˜‚ not a new thing for players to feel this way though

  17. Why would you leave a rebuild for a team that needs to be torn down

  18. He really said ā€œitā€™s either Rangers or no whereā€

  19. bluewhite63

Can you blame anyone for not wanting to go to the island? Trash team with no prospects and no future.

  20. BubbaSpanks

Hopefully he stays in Chicago itā€™s great to see someone start and finish with 1 team

  21. herpishderpish

This has probably more to do with the Isles being all but out of the playoff race at this point.

  22. LigmaBalzak

Because playing in MSG is fun, and Rangers fans travel well….but Isles fans also travel well, I guess he doesn’t want to be out on Long Island, they have nice neighborhoods but it’s pretty dead out there and it takes like 2 hours to get to NYC from there.

  23. New_Nebula_8447

He already said he wants to go to Toronto. Why he’d ever want to go to the greatest perennial chokers of all time, I have no idea.

  24. Fonelive

This statement seems to suggest that the speaker has given up on a particular situation or outcome, and has concluded that there is no possibility for a positive outcome. While it is important to be realistic and acknowledge challenges, it’s also essential to remember that situations can change and new opportunities may arise. It’s crucial to maintain a sense of hope and optimism, as it can help us find new solutions and keep moving forward.

  25. Strummer95

Sorry New York. We are gonna hold him back just a little longer in Chicago.

  26. raxnahali

Great player, but not at this price. 5yrs ago, sure.
