Korpi deserves so much better than to be dealt for late round picks to a team where he probably will barely play, fuck I want to keep him so badly

Other than all of the penalties that was a pretty well played game.
A lot of teams could do worse than Korpi for a backup come playoff time.
Jenner worked hard for that empty netter, he had one of those children of the corn draped all over him.

Joonas Korpisalo is a hero
Brain says trade Korpi, heart says pay Korpi and figure out the details later. Why couldn’t we have had a timeline where Korpi and Elvis were both just healthy this whole time and built off that moment where people were calling them the best goalie tandem in the league? It’s not fair.
First jackets game ever, first hockey game ever, and I had such a fucking good time. Will be back again go jackets!

Sorry Jets, looks like we just wanted it more. Incredible goaltending by Korpi, snipe goal by Laine, silky mitts and sneaky goal by KJ, huge effort empty netter by Jenner refusing to be denied, and awesome energy from the crowd, plus weird penalties all around. All the hallmarks of an entertaining game!
Itโs so messed up that our number one goalie (by far) is going to be forced to be traded. So messed up. Damn !!!!

At this point Iโm not trading Korpi unless itโs for a proven top-2 line/top-2 pair player and even then Iโm not sure if I would. Heโs our best goalie and itโs not close we canโt afford to not have him out there when we actually want to win
