This team has no fight, no integrity, and no fucking spirit

Fuck you, and I’ll see you tomorrow or whatever

  2. Bigasspikachu

Bad/inconsistent goaltending has made this team seem way worse then they are.

  3. ChrisTanevsNewTeef

It physically hurts to see Tanev’s frustration in the post-game interview.

At what point does the ownership group pursue legal action against markstrom and huberdeau for wage theft?

  5. Kippingthroughlife

I think the guys didn’t get the memo that were too high in the standings to tank for Bedard now…

Everything we’ve been crying for all season about the lines is happening and we still suck

Something weird is going on with this team. Freidman on 31 thoughts mentioned how hard of a time the players were having with the season in Calgary about 6 weeks ago, and then we have Alan Walsh reiterating that again with his tweet last night.

We gave huby a massive contract, and getting him back to at least an 80-point player needs to be our top priority. Whether that’s through trades, firing the coach etc somethings gotta give

I’d rather have a bottom 5 team than a middling one!

There is no fix to this

  9. The worst part is there’s no fix in the near future…

We’re not good enough for the playoffs and we’re not bad enough for top picks..

Then aging players and shitty contracts and no cap space and what we got is this nightmare mediocrity for the next 5 years…

    So unbelievably depressing

  10. It has been a frustrating year but, even with us legitimately contesting for a wildcard spot, it seems like everything right now is a risk.

If we could maintain the status quo, we might just make the playoffs, but with the locker room simmering, I don’t know if the status quo can be maintained.

I am not sure I see the pieces we need available on the trade market right now and certainly not from the rumours about where the Flames are poking around. Firing a coach who has us in the wildcard hunt, with less than two months remaining, seems like a risk as well.

A couple of weeks ago I thought that some tweaks ahead of the trade deadline would improve the team, now it feels more like we need a bigger change.

Bout time sutter is put out to pasture.Teams need a big shake up starting at the top.

Hubderdeau would have fit well on the Devils. They play run and gun hockey.

    Corsi: 2nd league wide

Actual standings: 5th in the Pacific

    Vibes: 32nd

I mean if Minnesota lose today, we are back in a playoff spot lmao.

Seems like at this rate St.Louis might take that last spot

We are the definition of a 9th place team. The teams around us fighting for 8th all suck though just as much so it will be a battle.

I think the stark contrast between last year and this year is making this feel worse than it is.

Last year we had half (more?) of the team with “career years”, now we have basically nobody having a “career year” (maybe 73?)…

I’m holding out hope that it’s just a down year for the guys (mainly 10 and 25) and that things will get better next year.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m still frustrated with Darryl’s tactics, and the lack of “give a shit” points to bigger problems in the room but we can only hope. The alternative is many dark years ahead…I’ve around since ther beginning and nobody wants to see “Young Guns 2.0”, trust me.

The Flames have a broken locker room and fixing that needs to be priority #1. Walsh tweeting what he did last night just confirms what I have been thinking for months: Darryl is way too hard on these players and the negativity has completely destroyed the room.
