I am in so much pain from standing pretty much the whole time, but it was 100% worth it to see the boys absolutely dominate the caps!

What a magical night! I still have goosebumps thinking about it. All those “hockey purists” and naysayers that have been shitting on us over the years can suck a whole bag of dicks. God this was amazing.

How far we have come in the city, and in the NHL. What a special night for all Canes fans. Something I will never forget.

Very sorry I couldn’t meet up with you. I met a ton of redditors. My phone is half r/canes now. I have much to say. It will be said later tonight. I am awestruck at this week and this has been my best visit to NC yet by far. I am proud of all of us. I also apologize to Fleuriste for not meeting her. My boy Jordan is taking me to the airport as I typed. I will long remember this day and thank Raleigh and this sub for everything. This incredible fanbase and this incredible sub can never be thanked enough.

BuT hOcKeY dOeSn’T wOrK iN tHe SoUtH. 57000+ people at the game, people tailgated for 6 hours for it, sold out in 3 hours (a record).
Carter-Finley the 2nd loudest house in the NHL.
So glad to meet quite a few of you, shout out to u/denvercaniac, u/scarpeck, and the Canes discord for letting me use their grill after mine wouldn’t stay lit

Walked 3.25 miles from where I parked to get to the stadium but it was so worth it! Way to show out, Raleigh!

Amazing experience! So glad I went- go canes!

This game would’ve been so much more enjoyable had they actually enforced no smoking policies.

What a fucking day. Had next to no service once I got in the stadium, my voice is gone and still a bit from getting home after dropping off friends but that was fucking awesome.

It was a lot of fun but NC State’s stadium sucks ass

Made the trip all the way from south Florida for this game and it was absolutely worth it! Easily the best time I’ve ever had at a hockey game!
Glad we were able to show every one that Raleigh IS a hockey city.

Fuck the disorganized Wade Avenue situation. 3 hours from Fuquay Varina. That could’ve been done so much better but we made it just in time and they won. Go Canes!

just rewatched the 2nd period.
marty fight: the guy trips him, tries to smash the butt of his stick into his face while he’s on his back on the ice, then rubs his gloves in his face, then cross checks him in the throat, then proceeds to start throwing punches before marty can even drop his gloves
what a chickenshit motherfucker

We had a caps fan escorted out for being a dick and I’m rather proud of that

For as much of a shit show that the parking and traffic were, that was a fantastic event regardless. Probably the coolest thing I’ve ever been to. I don’t know if this game was big nationally, but this had to be one of the biggest events ever for this area. What a great time and well worth the money.

We were in line waiting to get out near the player entrance when a gorgeous Porsche with dealer plates pulled out and stopped. Traffic wasn’t moving at all and all of a sudden a police car with lights on pulled in behind me. The wife mentioned that the guy driving the Porsche looked like Dundon, and he was waving his hand at the cop to come to his car. I pulled to the side and the cop pulled around me, but instead of going toward Dundon he went into the loading area – all with Dundon literally hanging out of his car waving his hands at the cop. By that time one of the lanes had freed up and we pulled into it to get out, while Dundon was still stopped at the exit to the loading area.
TL;DR – I raced Dundon to I40 and won.

My one takeaway from that is that we need a full damn band in the PNC during the playoffs. Man the brass just brings the intensity, I love it

I guess they decided not to test the audio setup before the game. Did they say anything interesting at all tonight? Couldn’t hear a thing anyone said

1:24 AM and just got home. Great game and they did an amazing job on CF stadium. Never looked better👍

You can’t spell Canes without Necas, and now the entire hockey world knows it

Amazing game. Jealous of those that experienced it in person.

It’s amazing how at one point we struggled to fill our stadium to now selling out a football field. Rod’s turned this team around in a few years and I’m all for it. The single best hockey experience I’ve been in 🫡
