Tonights Pittsburgh Penguins vs New York Islanders game was a big one in the metro for both teams. The season is beginning to shrink as the playoff race heats up and this game had one of the funniest goals I have ever seen! The puck getting lost on top of DeSmith, Anders Lee is able to find it and in Happy Gilmore fashion, Backhand golf swings the puck in to score! This was a wild game that the Penguins dominate early but the Islanders fought back hard. I cover it all in todays NHL hockey highlights recap.

I've played hockey for most of my life and never knew it was allowed to tee of the goalie. Jokes aside I thought that would count as goalie interference ๐
As a pens fan for over 30 years I am absolutely disgusted with this team right now. One period they look great- the next terrible. Desmith made some really bad plays. Trying not to lose mentality instead of win ..I hate to say it but bring up a Wilkes-Barre goalie and players and put Dumolin, Carter and Kappenin on IR.

Not a Pens fan but after two stanley cups in a row they have really fallen off but at the same time I would assume talent would want to sign with them to play with Crosby just because of his skill.
