  1. A suggestion: to put the actual draft rank next to the player redrafted. I always love your videos and that you take the time to organize them in playlists. 🙂

  2. I think a 2014 redraft would be fun. Just watched the last one almost three years ago. Impressive how some players improved oder declined

  3. How tf is Addison that low? I was gonna say something about some other picks but that one really sticks out to me. Good PP QB, decent enough at EV and not as bad defensively as his reputation would lead you to believe. By no means a defensive stud at all, but just his game right now deserves more praise than this. And potential wise? Yeah, he definitely deserves to be higher than 21st

  4. Barret Hayton’s dad taught at my old high school, cool guy believe he was drafted by the kings back in the day.

  5. I absolutely LOVE the appreciation given to Matias Samuelson. He is such an underrated defenceman and most people just look at his point totals and shrug him off.

  6. Weird seeing Kotkaniemi being so low considering you don't typically expect a pick that low to be a career NHL player. He has 41 goals and 288 games played, which I think is more than any player outside the top three other than Farabee (he has 54 goals in 221 games). Maybe the expectations being off tanks him more in the mind than he deserves. If he was drafted, say, 9th, I think a team would be happy with what they've gotten out of him.

To me, if a team had the opportunity to draft a forward that was going to consistently play hockey at the NHL level, they'd jump at it pretty early. He's struggled, and definitely didn't meet expectations, but I would think more like 7th or 8th rather than 13th.

And he's picked it up recently. His most recent game against Buffalo he had two primary assists, and he had a point in the previous game against the Kings as well. Just my two cents, I think if he was a late top 10 pick for a team they'd be happy with what they got.

Edit: Oh also, Quinn Hughes has 24 goals in 250 games, but he's also a minus 15 for his career so far, which isn't what you want for a defenseman. Granted, being on the Canucks you're going to take a hit to your plus/minus (sorry Shannon, not trying to rub it in) but still, he has some issues with his game.

  7. I love how the #1 and #2 drafted perfectly, and then the Habs (team I root for) was the first to completely butcher it.
And by "I love" I mean "I hate it and want to cry"

  8. I will say as a stars fan, we are certainly happy with the move to get Nils lundkvist, I love what he’s been able to provide offensively and we got him for cheap

  9. The only time Brady Tkachuk has managed more points than Hughes was his rookie season when Hughes was in college.

You either massively underrate Hughes or massively overrated Tkachuk, either way I turned off the video after that because it’s just comical.

Hughes goes no lower than third.

  10. Am happy you still have Cotter in the first round to "Welcome" him back! All in all I like it (was freaking Svech wasn't 2nd but that's the Caniac in me)

  11. I agree with you 90%+ of the time. But you and I both know that Adam Boqvist is too low here, I’d argue Wahlstrom is also too low.

  12. Things wouldn't of been any different in Montréal. Brady Tkachuk would of never stayed in the city. He'd probably be playing with his brother today.

  13. In what world does Quinn Hughes not go 2nd overall? Dude can outproduce Svech and Brady as a defenceman while playing decent d
