Leafs almost blew the game … Luckily the Sabres are a crap team. The Bruins or the Lightnings or the Rangers aren't going to be pushovers. With games like these we all know what will happen come playoff time.
Leafs are like the Yankees, trying to buy a Stanley cup, they might as well pick up Patrick Kane why they are at it. Selling their future for the present is the maple leaf way and it has never worked in 50+ years. Some organizations never learn. Leafs are one of those.

I have never seen a crowd difference this large at a pro game before. I am sure some college games look like this but for a pro game it is so odd seeing it.

Lots of blame to go around for Buffalo: 1st goal bad changes, 2nd goal two guys chasing one Leaf behind the Leaf net, 3rd goal goalie doesn't track the puck and is out of position, 4th goal Samuelsson had an open guy to his right before he wiped out and turned the puck over, Krebs chasing way too far out on a PK.

That Sherwood Code TMP stick WN88 is using seems to be working out for him. I bought one to try out (the cheaper model which is the same stick just weighs more) and it feels good with more of a mid kick feel than my other sticks. I'm still getting used to it as my slapshot seems a bit off but man I scored a nice twisted wrister last week. There is certainly the nostlagia of playing with a Sherwood twig also greatly appeals.

Good for O’Reilly, it’s good that the leafs built a big lead, because Samsonov looked and frankly is a garbage goalie. Look out Playoffs. First they will never build leads like that against top tier teams, then goaltending. Can you say early exit again and good bye Keefe, Dubas and yes Shanahan.
