  1. Largest TV audience in Raleigh for a regular season game is interesting because the 50,000 people most interested in hockey were at the game.

I think I contributed a bit too heavily to the merch sales but have no regrets.

Who would have thought that prime time viewing on a major network and not blacking out the local market would have this kind of impact? What an absolute mystery.

They must have sold a couple of those $1k jackets I guess

Hmmm….look at that, deprive a city and team an outdoor game for 25 years and look what you get! Now, better not be another quarter century before the next one.

The first slide hurts my soul bc the ONLY vendor allowed on-site was fanatics. The Eye was closed. I bought a puck on eBay after the event from an independent seller, but the longest lines I saw all day were for the fanatics tent 😭 it’s clear I’m fighting a losing fight but when they’re literally the only option instead of essentially, don’t say I didn’t warn you

Raleigh is the best sports town I have been too without any professional sports minus the Canes of course. MLB and NBA would kill here. People are hungry for it and are actually passionate about the city unlike the folks in Charlotte no offense.
