Vasy was not on his shit at all tonight and I think that’s ultimately what cost us this game. You can point to mistakes that other players made that led to goals, but a team shouldn’t have to play absolutely perfectly to avoid giving up 6 goals. Vasy should’ve had some of those.

Vasy was pissed and rightfully so could have and should have played better. Same for Kuch he’s been off the last few weeks Boston game was his last good game IMO. At least if Hedman can keep playing like this we will be a lot more dangerous

Defense did him literally zero favors tonight but our 9.5M goalie couldn’t make one single big save when we needed it most. Meh.
Lucky to have even gotten a point out of that game, 1 game back of the leafs now. Back to back this weekend is very important. Wings are pushing hard for a spot and Penguins are playing like dog water. Definitely will be interesting to watch.

Never really minded the Sabres but not sure why their fan base is always on us? I think they have a bright future if they get some solid defense and better coaching. I wouldn’t mind seeing them in the playoffs again but just not at our expense.
