What's Next For Charles Hudon? Montreal Canadiens Talk / Habs: Hudon Signs Contract – 2019-2020 NHL

Charles Hudon got re-signed to a one-way, one-year $800K contract earlier today, so in this video, we’ll be asking what exactly is the case with the 25-year-old forward. He was scratched a lot by the Montreal Canadiens, and continuing his career with the Habs, there will definitely be some questions to answer.

  1. I was surprised by the signing too. Though I think it would've been best for him as a player to be traded to a team that would actually use him to his full abilities, I think this is a good thing for our team and our bench. Guys like Hudon, Thompson, Weise and Peca, are all good backup plans. If one of our players is out, they're there and we know we can rely on them. They're all good players who have been able to click well with our other guys. Again, I think it would've been best to trade Charles Hudon, but at the same time, it's also a good thing for the team and our depth.

  2. charle hudon last year play 72game 30pts and play14min30 a game at 24yearold
    kotkaniemi this year play 79game 34pts and play 13min a game at18yearold

  3. Sign and trade the guy.
He looked great in the AHL. But personally, With the prospects we have. We dont Need Hudon.

  4. Disclaimer:I am not complaining

legorocks99 are you a habs fan if not why do you keep making videos on them

  5. They tried to move him last year. I suspect they'll continue trying this year. Too much depth on the wing, he doesn't fit in the top 9 forwards anymore.

  6. Hudon is a good skater but he lacks two things, toughness and he has trouble finishing to score goals. So Bergevin with the contract signing is giving him a last chance to crack the lineup and if not its a draft pick trade or he plays in Laval for the last time. With the Habs having so much depth now and we need more scoring which makes him expendable. Nice guy but this is a business. Julien wants 4 balanced lines that all can produce. We didn't have the talent 2 years ago to do 3 lines but look at us now😁😁. Nice work by Bergevin and Trevor on stocking the shelves.

  7. Like your videos. Injuries to a top 6 guy could give him a chance to play some time and show something. Love my habs but they are small. Injuries are coming. On top of that he does work hard. Still I agree it’s a meh signing. Although one of my favourite moments last year was Kotkaniemi first goal (I think) and Hudon sitting next to him on the bench with his arm around him!

  8. There’s so many more talented guy we can have on our roster better than Hudon, I like the guy but I bet he’s going to play with my home team Laval..
