We named one of my dogs Lars after we won the cup to bad Eller is not what he used to be.

31 players were on the active roster at some point in that season. Take away the seven who are still here, and only eight others are still in the NHL (Travis Boyd, Burakovsky, Grubauer, Liam O’Brien, Orlov, Chandler Stephenson, Vrana, and Nathan Walker).
So over half of the players from that team are either retired, in the AHL, or playing in some other professional league other than the NHL right now. And it was only five years ago.
