  1. Obviously I'd love to get him on board (understatement of the year). I just don't know what the Rangers have that (a) Chicago wants and (b) we can afford to give up. If they want a roster player who doesn't rhyme with hats off, we could be out of luck.

  2. With the spot light on Kane seemingly about to flick and go out, now was the to put on a show to show he still has the chops to be a dangerous player. I'm holding out hope for Showtime to make his debut on Broadway. However if he stays here in the Second City… I hope if Toews end up retiring (who knows with his health problems) we make Kane captain for a couple years. Would be kind of a cool little footnote at the end of his career.

  3. As a rangers fan I say why not might as well go for it.. but doesn’t mean anything if Igor doesn’t get his game together.

  4. I think this could work-

To New York: Patrick Kane, 50% salary retention from Chicago, 50% of the 50% salary retention from Minnesota

To Chicago: 2023 1st* (The earlier of New York’s 2 1st rounders), Vitali Kravtsov, Jake Leschyshyn, and New York’s 2023 6th

    To Minnesota: New York’s 2024 3rd

    To Minnesota: New York’s 2024 4th

  6. Lysell,Smith 23 1st 24 2nd 25 3 Rd ( for cap retaining) Kane to Boston

  7. There already is a super team. the Bruins. I would like to see Rangers take them on. my 1 n 2 eastern favorites.

  8. Kane would’ve had another goal against Dallas on clapper breakaway at the buzzer but got called back… guy is 🔥

  9. Anyone that thinks Kane fetches a first is simply an idiot. It’s going to be like a 3rd Kravstov for Kane 50% with a 4th going to Arizona. Kane’s brought his value down to nothing by stating it’s NY or nothing. Chicago will be selling for cents on the dollar. It’s going to be Hall to Boston all over again

  10. are the rangers comfortable giving up othmann and a 1st? thats what i think it's going to cost. i don't see kravstov being of interest to the hawks. i could be wrong, but i think the hawks want younger prospects and/or picks.

  11. As a Rangers fan, I would love to see Kane on Broadway, but I'm not sure about giving up the prospects either. I don't want to give up Othmann or Cuylle for one post season with Kane. I feel very conflicted about it, tbh

  12. As a Rangers fan, I've been down this road before. We have had very good teams and hasn't worked. The East is a meat grinder. Boston, Toronto, Carolina, NY, NJ and Tampa are all very good and can knock each other out. The east playoff will be epic.

  13. “The first ever NHL super team?” Huh 🤔 How quickly we forgotten about the Edmonton Oilers, NY Islanders and Montreal Canadians; interesting.

  14. Did you just say the NHLs first super team lol That is just so false. The Canadians in the 70’s, Oilers and Edmonton in the 80’s, Devils, Wings, Stars, Avs in the 90s.

  15. “First Ever NHL Super Team” Lego? Really?? Maybe the Canadians of the 70’s, the Islanders & Oilers of the 80’s and the Devils, Avs, and Wings of the 90’s & 2000’s Never existed?? For example, your list of “super stars” that would be on the Rangers would not be nearly as good as the Wings in that era with Yzerman, Shanahan, Hull, Larionov, Kozlov, Fedorov (three of the Russian Five), Robitaille, Martin Lapointe, Holmstrom – later Datsyuk – nine really good forwards. Then there were Lidstrom, Sandstrom, Fetisov, Konstantinov -later Aaron Ward, Larry Murphy, Ericsson-later Chelios, for defense with Mike Vernon & Chris Osgood in net plus the Grind Line which could shut down almost anybody’s top six. I am not even going to begin to name the greats that played together on the other teams – so I suggest you take back your ”First NHL Super Team” comment.

  16. We're just tired of you putting on the NYR pom poms. They're as bad as the Leafs as they never win titles yet have among the most arrogant fans.
