  1. Oilers interest in Patrick Kane is… Interesting. Especially if say, Puuljiarvi was to leave and we got a pick back instead of having to pay one out to rent kane.

  2. Spezz was willing to go one more year and would have done a better job than Ryan. Would have saved those pics for a strong DMan.

  3. this trade will not age well, like all Dubas trades unless Murray comes back and stands on his head, ROT turns a poor season around come playoff time, ROR turns Engvall and Kerfoot into tough competitors and Acciari turns Aston into one too.
Not to mention the top 6 getting playoff tough (no crying and clearing the puck into the stands) and an end to the countless untimely defensive lapses (Holl v Ott for eg or marner and the no look passes) not to mention the team finding that killer instinct.

Maybe ROR triggers this miracle….. just maybe.

but the likelihood is that we miss out on a god player in the draft, TB wins, or Bos wins if we beat tampa, and ROR walks for more money in the summer like half the roster.

the leafs owner Tanenbaum, the GM, the team on the ice and their fans are fascinating.

  4. Great trade for the leafs. Extremely unlikely that OReilly resigns as he'd be taking a very large pay cut to stay.

Now I think you add a top 4 (preferably top pair) defenseman and you're pretty well set.

  5. Julian, your aperture is annoying as heck. Dial it back one more step, possibly two. I get you want the BG blurred, but part of your face is blurring out and you're a good looking dude, don't be a blurry blob.

  6. I hate that trade. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.
O'Reilly is not that 1C anymore but is a very good player still, and he brings a lot of "not chocking" energy to the roster in a top 6 role. He could prove very useful to reach the second round, and once the mental block is lifted from the rest of the team, the sky's the limit.

As a Habs fan, I hate that trade!

  7. CJ mentioned Nashville will likely listen to offers on most anyone soon… Could that include Kevin Lankinen? He's an upcoming RFA, they have Askarov in the pipeline, and in 12 games he's a 0.920, 2.68GAA, +0.484GSAx. Kinda surprised he's not been talked more about as a trade candidate

  8. Things have been heating up on our side on The Devils 😈 side for Timo Meier a lot of talking going on between The Devils and Sharks 🦈 and also the trade rumors of Timo Meier to NJD has really really been heating up! It’s been quiet on the Canes End, lots of talks about Devils & Sharks and between both camps about Meier I really really think my team Timo Meier lands here in NJ on my team The Devils!!! 🖤🔥🔥🔥

  9. I think any interest Dubas may have had in Kane likely ended last game as his presence was virtually non-existent in that game, helping to accelerate the blockbuster here. Personally think a deal for Kane might be hard to reach as you look at his current level of play combined with the type of player he is and I just don't think there are to many teams that slot him for the value required. Additionally his ability to shortlist teams just creates to many things that devalue him from a buyers perspective. It won't surprise me if nothing occurs with that front, or we maybe see a last minute basement bargain so CHI can salvage something over nothing.
