  1. And all we had to do to get Wallman was trade Nick Leddy and we also got Sunquist and a third, if I was the Blue's ownder, im forcing the GM to block Stevy Ys number

  2. Who woulda thought! Jake freakin Walman. He's been a stud. Chairot was signed to play with Mo. Yet it is the guy nobody even heard of going into the season who's now on our first pair. Chairot might be the worst signing of Yzermans career as he is nothing but dead weight. I just hope that contract won't prevent us from giving Walman that very same deal(in all likelihood it will). Wallman will get paid somewhere and we will be stuck with Chiarot for 3 more freakin years😩

  3. Walman has gotta get signed, but the amount has to be right and more importantly the term has to be right we got a slew of LD prospects. I thunk 3 years/12 mil would be a good contract for both sides.

It's not that Walman is so good, it's just that Seider finally got a good partner that allows him to shine.

  4. This pairing has been so much fun to watch. Seider has his confidence back and it really showed in the win over Edmonton where he pretty consistently shut down McJesus when on the ice against him. Only problem I have with the Wings D right now is that Chiarot is now dragging Hronek down like a boat anchor when it is clear that the Hronek Maattaa pairing has been exceptional for the team. Time to put Chiarot on the third pairing and play him against other team's bottom 6.

  5. Chiarot is really weird. Just watching him casually, you think he's pretty decent. He's physical, gritty, contributes points, moves the puck well and skates better than expected. But then, when you look back at his goals against, it becomes clear he goes out of his way for those hits and often takes on too much risk with his passes/pinches. He's not really a 'stay at home' defensemen… matter of fact, you almost need to pair him with one lol

  6. Wings have to sign Wsllman. North of $5m/yr for 5 years seems reasonable. The future is Seider-Wallman and Edvinson-Hronek in the top 4

  7. As much as I'd like the wings in the playoffs is just rather have them have a shot in the lottery this season. Need another solid goal scorer

  8. For some reason, us red wings fans aren’t considering Wallinder coming in next season. He’s putting up similar numbers to Seider in the SHL. Could easily make the team. We are looking deep on the back end for the future

  9. nice to see Stecher doing well, I liked him on the Wings. Walman was one of Yzermans best pick ups for sure, and Mo is Mo.

  10. I’ve been saying for months Wallman is my top free agent, and Larkin of course. With the young defense the wings will have, we need correct personal paired with them. Wallman is easy 3-4 million to pair next seider for 3 years

  11. Best pairing in the NHL….. MAKAR and TOEWS people. Literally no contest
