Tonight will be the first time since the 2004 season finale (April 4th in Dallas) that the #Blackhawks will play a game without any of the following players: Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Duncan Keith, or Brent Seabrook

This makes me feel old and sad at the same time.
I was 20
TIHI
The darkest timeline
My god I was 2 years old. I’m 21 now. That’s fucked
Get the time machine and take me back to 2008.
I was only 4 at that time and now I’m 65!
End of the greatest hockey era we’ll ever experience.
Gentlemen it’s been an honor playing with you
I was not alive yet. I’m 18 years old now
I was like 5 months old 😵💫
🥺
Gentleman, it was an honor. We will be back.

Everyone is this thread is making me feel ancient. But on the others hand I got to see the 85 Bears and the 90s Bulls, so it’s not all bad.
everything hurts and i want to die
Wow, I was 17 in 2004.

Think about how incredible that is and how fortunate we’ve been to have had those players spanning 19 years. That’s almost unheard of in professional sports.
It truly has been such a ride. 10 then. 28 now. Time flies.
I wanted to take my wife to a Blackhawks game so badly so we can see Kane playing. Now it wouldn’t be the same
I was just about to graduate college and I definitely attended games that season with the high school/college ID promo for $7. The franchise at the time I believe was voted by ESPN as the worst in professional sports.
I don’t get the trade. They’re getting rid of Kane for bus tokens. Getting almost nothing in return AND we have to pay half the cap hit? We’re paying to get rid of one of the best players of all time?
Sad.
But let’s lose and get that first pick!
