Fuck the Flyers management. They have been total and complete horseshit for eleven years and there is no end in sight. Dave Scott is an empty suit. A coward. Want to talk about privilege? He was given/gifted this job. He doesn’t even understand the business, let alone the sport. He’s got other geriatric has-been advisors, who never, ever had anything remotely close to success in management in an era with a salary cap, with analytics, where speed/skill prevail, and teams need to be built year-over-year with intentional investment and then compete windows. When’s the last time he got in front of questions, in front of a microphone? Oh yeah, that’s right, it was over a year ago where he told us how “mad he was, they all were” and then went on to praise young up and comers like Gerry fucking Mayhew.
This team is not worth supporting until they are ALL completely swept out or the team is sold. Got that?

If not, there’s no point in supporting this organization. The clock has already ticked itself out. Purge the incompetent old boys’ club and hire a total outsider (no Ray Shero, no other former Fletcher, Clarke, Holmgren, nor Lombardi protégés) as President and let him/her pick an outsider as GM. Do that or fully sell the Philadelphia Flyers to a new investor/ownership group (that will effectively do the same thing), otherwise, we simply don’t trust you to navigate the future. You have zero credibility and you deserve zero support given how terribly you’ve bungled the past and the present.
It is 100% clear that this team didn’t realize it was rebuilding until the coach told you so after the post-All Star break games didn’t go so hot. Every fan with a basic understanding has seen for years how far off the Flyers are and how they lack anything that looks like a solid future. You just now, a couple of weeks before the deadline realized and collectively agreed that you should be rebuilding? Are you kidding me? And you can’t even say the damn word? You have run this franchise into the ground and the collective lot of you are a league-wide laughing stock.
Don’t spend a dollar until these clowns are gone. If they don’t follow-thru, then I do recommend finding a Western Conference team to fill in your fandom until the current regime finally collapses. At this point, your dollars are the only things propping them up.

How much you want to bet that the people referred to here as getting “louder and louder” have absolutely nothing to do with deciding Fletcher’s fate and have zero information from people who do?
