Rochester Americans head coach Seth Appert joined Brian Duff and Martin Biron on this week’s episode of Sabres Live Overtime. He discussed the progress of the Amerks young players, the balance of player development while being in a playoff race and the outlook for the team coming up. He examined the play of Jiri Kulich, Isak Rosen, Alexander Kisakov, Lukas Rousek, Brandon Biro, Linus Weissbach, & Brett Murray, plus Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen’s mindset, the Amerks goaltending and his favorite puck handling goalie.

  1. Go Sabres Go watching the young guns grow is a great part of being a fan. Some kids see the whole ice and some just see what they have going on in their bubble. Holding kids to the highest standards is a must or you're going to have a team that is full of iiiiii's

  3. Good stuff. I love that you can watch KA, DG, and Appert and see the genuineness. You get real answers and genuine communication. None of the typical cliched coach speak where you say a lot without really saying anything. The organization as a whole hasn't been in such good shape in a long time. Really excited for the future, especially with how well we've been drafting the last few years. Go Sabres!
