@Carolina Hurricanes

This was absolutely INCREDIBLE

This was honestly one of the greatest goalie cellys I have ever seen! We all saw earlier this week, as Linus Ullmark scored his first goalie goal and the first in Boston Bruins history in what was just an awesome sight to see. Well, last night Pyotr Kochetkov of the Carolina Hurricanes but playing for the AHL Chicago Wolves, scored a goalie goal of his own, proceeded to celebrate in amazing fashion and THEN, got into a tussle getting ejected from the game meaning he was just an assist away from a GOALIE Gordie Howe hat trick. That would have been amazing. Anyway, enjoy as I cover it all in todays AHL hockey highlight recap!

  1. I mean he’s a goalie scoring and he’s young let him have his moments it’s why we love the sport and players love to play the sport

  2. Getting bent out of shape and going after a goalie because he celebrated scoring on you… I don’t know if you get softer than that. You might want to give your balls a tug and try scoring on him.

  3. Awesome stuff! Although I'm tired of players acting all butt hurt like MB did. There's times to stick up for your team. I don't think this is one of them. If there was dirty hit on your teammate, for sure go nuts. But you're just an asshat doing it to a guy that just scored a once in a lifetime type goal

  4. Got to respect the Canes as a team of class. Rod Brindamor (sp?) is an excellent former player turned head coach, the team plays well under him and seem to have great fun doing it.
    2023 East should come down to seeing Canes and Bruins as top contenders.
    Bruins adding Garnet Hathaway and Dimitri Orlov just might make them unstoppable.

  5. Check out Ron Hextall's (Philadelphia Flyers) highlights. The first goaltender to score a goal via a shot had 32 assists and all-time goaltender penalty minutes (569).

  6. KOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCHIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! This kid is great! BTW he got into another fight the following night as they played the same team.

  7. Gordie Howe hat trick requires a goal, assist, and fight. I thought he had an assist this game too based on the video but he didn't.

  8. I remember back in the day when goalies didn’t fight, as your whole team would clobber whoever was screwing with you.

  9. Kochetkov called back up (Raanta nicked up this time)………..shutout vs. Philadelphia!
