  1. It would be cool if we had cossa and hart cuz cossa is raw and young and he needs time to develop and husso is a bit older although I'd be happy with husso until cossa is ready

  2. I think hart would do better on a better team. the year he "out-dueled" carry price, well, they made the playoffs, they were better and he was better. Also a new team would be good for his confidence.

  3. I wouldn't hate it.. the biggest issue for the wings is that Husso has had to be perfect for them to win any games.. back up goalies have been abysmal. I don't think it would be worth it though, I think the Flyers will ask for too much in return and I'm not alright with that. I wanna see my wings resign some of our young players as the top priority

  4. I’d give them VANCOUVERS 2nd for Hart to the Wings

Edit: red wings own VAN 2nd rd pick

  5. I've always taken wins/losses with a grain of salt. If the goalie has great SV% and GAA but a bad w/l record.. then that looks like he's on a bad team and they just don't score for him. On the other hand.. if their numbers sucks.. losses can be expected… and it could be the goalie.. Goalies can't win games by themselves… but they can lose them. Hart's numbers right now say he should have a better W/L… but his team is not scoring for him.. so he's getting L's that could have been W's (much like the Rangers/Sabres game this weekend).. So that could be a big pickup for any team that makes a move for him.

  6. Why the f*ck would the flyers do this ?? Unless it’s a huge overpayment…ain’t gonna happen.

  7. As a Wings fan I'd be open to it but I don't want to give up any of the young core we're building. Cossa could be viable coming up soon but we can get rid of Ned for a bag of chips for all I care.

  8. As much as this is appealing, there is a backup goaltender already in the Wings system, Cossa. He’s been straight fire in Grand Rapids.

  9. Sure he would be upgrade over Husso and cheaper one at that but not by much. And they have Cossa. So is this really something Detroit needs? No.

  10. Not sure what is intended by "the Red Wings just lost out on Hronek". They didn't. Yzerman sold high on him receiving a 1st and a 2nd in exchange for Hronek and a 4th. On paper this is a good deal for Detroit AND Vancouver…because Hronek is a good RH dman on a cheap contract. Not sure if Yzerman is ready to move on from Ned, I personally hope Ned gets an even cheaper 2 year "show me" deal, but if not, it's fine if he moves on this off season, as he hasn't been very good for Detroit. Either way, I don't see Yzerman being all that interested in Hart…even though I like Carter.

  11. Husso-Hart is a good regular season tandem while we wait for A.) A more premium goalie. B.) CoSSA develops.

  12. Nothing personal with Ned – just feel it's not been good for Detroit. Hellburg? I'm sorry, I'd love Stevie to PAY him to play for a division rival and start every time Detroit is the opponent

  13. To the ppl saying wings need to get rid of Ned: go look on capfriendly, he won’t be on the team next year…

  14. Stop sending rumors about Flyers. Can't lose Carter Hart, just as beloved as Briere and Lindros🤬🤬🤬👺

  15. We need a goon and a goal scorer more than another goalie IMO, unless we got him for a good price

  16. Don't trade Hart. He's worth more to us that what other teams will want to give up, unless you get blown away. No use making moves just to make them.

  17. No! No! No! Hellebuyuk to the Red Wings. Jets can get Hart. That's better all around.

  18. I would welcome Hart on the Wings for sure. He's the best goalie in the league by far for goals above expected…. meaning he stops the most shots from high-scoring areas. Why would he want to leave the Flyers to go to Detroit? A rebuilding team to another rebuilding team. He should go to Pittsburgh. He would be in a better place by far there. Or the LA Kings! Yeah, he would be perfect in LA.

  19. I think the Flyers would trade Hart with one of their terrible contracts to speed the rebuild up. Otherwise I don't see a reason to.

  20. nucks fan here. heres a weird one: hes from sherwood park , alberta right? send him home.Edm would have to send campbell the other way ( plus a tonne of stuff) but on a good team maybe he would be the answer to the biggest problem the oilers have and have had for a long time .. goaltending.

  21. Husso is doing great holding down the fort as Cossa develops. I don't know if I like the idea of taking Hart on.

  22. He deserves better , if he goes to a good team he will definitely win multiple Vezina Trophies .. Even on one of the worse teams in the nhl he shows stretches of bein phenomenal!! Hart and Konecny are my 2 favorite players … But they would bring pretty good players and picks back … Trade em!!!

  23. Carter Hart goes to not Detroit (as a Wings fan I wouldn't want him), but he goes to either EDM or ARZ.

  24. I'd like to see Hart move on. It sucks cause the flyers have been in need of a good goaltender for decades. But this franchise will ruin his career. Just look at G.

  25. Carter Hart is a great NHL goalie. His save % this season is only as low as it is because the D in front of him is God awful meaning the shots he's facing are way more difficult to save than what most goalies see

  26. Please. Hart is no improvement over Husso. Both teams suck defensively and both goalies have similar Games, GAA and SV%, but Ville has 8 more wins and only makes $850k more. In a team as cap rich as Detroit, he's worth it UNLESS Briere throws in a high pick.
