One of the worst scraps in NHL history

In last nights Arizona Coyotes vs Minnesota Wild game, we saw one of the worst scraps you’ll see between Ryan Reaves and Boko Imama. If you’re watching this as a hockey fan on YouTube, I imagine there’s a decent chance you’ve seen the one between Aaron Downey and Brad Norton. Definitely a candidate for worst fight ever. How about this one, the infamous Dion Phaneuf incident where he had to pick up his gloves and go home? Well, I think we can officially add this one to the list. As for the game, it felt like a playoff game! Lots of fun with plenty of goals, fights and an Overtime finish. I cover it all in todays NHL hockey highlight recap

  1. I spent 2 hours re-working this video and had to upload FIVE TIMES before YouTube would allow me to post it due to "fighting" in the video. Not how I had initially made it, but hope its still enjoyable. Sorry about it guys, thanks for all your support!

  2. Aaron Downey beat Domi in a fight. I got to watch him in the minors for years before he finally made it, this dude could fight like nothing I’ve ever seen. Toughest dude I’ve ever seen on skates… I’d love to have seen him take in Chara lol

  3. WAIT A MINUTE…WAIT A DAMN MINUTE….REAVES ACTUALLY SCORED A GOAL….I WASN'T AWARE REAVES PLAYED HOCKEY.🤭🤣

  4. This "fight" reminded me of Marcus Foligno vs. Joel Farabee of the Flyers. Farabee challenged Foligno so he obliged but it tilted pretty quickly in Foligno's favor and Farabee was in a pretty vulnerable spot so Foligno holds up and lets the linesmen come in. You're spot on in your analysis, I think Reaves was trying to let Imama land the first punch. Reaves could tell from the start that Imama wasn't ready for this.

  5. Boko Imama is a BAD MAN in the AHL. I've watched him fight a TON of people down here in the American League. He's no slouch, and if he's actually able to fight a guy, watch out.

  6. I saw Imama the night before here in Milwaukee, playing for the Roadrunners. With 4.6 seconds left in the game, he had 2:00 for cross-checking, 2 for instigating, 5 for fighting, and a 10-minute misconduct. He's a punk, often suspended.

  7. Good way to get yourself hurt..he lucky this is mature grown up Reaves..younger meaner Reaves puts them lights out

  8. Wilson would have put his head on the ice after that missed swing. That kid was VERY lucky that Reaves wasn't fighting out of anger or malice.
I don't mean for this to be offensive at all, but I think Reaves showed restraint so as to not injure a young black hockey player who just made it to the show. The NHL is probably the 2nd most difficult league in North America to get into (behind MLB), and that road is likely much rougher for a man of color.

  9. Lets be real Reaves didnt want to hurt Imama he didnt even try at all. He wanted the refs to break it ip before Imama gets hurt

  10. Reeves experienced this as a kid growing up as a real boxer I expect. No need to pound a guy who just needed a break to stay in the show or fit in…
Appendix 1 of the code belongs to Reever. That was big to give him a pass…
    Just don’t try it again!

  11. Calling the Arizona Coyotes terrible or awful. Don't. Unless you call the teams behind them in the standings, the same thing.

  12. I think Reaves did him a real favour. At least he showed some integrity in not beating up on a guy who probably isn't much of a match for him.

  13. I think the funniest part of this fight is the fact that only a day before this game Imama got his shit absolutely ROCKED in Milwaukee and got himself a 1 game. Guy was acting a fool during the Saturday night game and knew he was going to cause problems as the game went on. It's always good to see fights in games but I've never seen the fans get so riled up over a fight when he went down Saturday.
