I know its been many years since he left but seeing the number 61 on a Sabres player that's not named Afinogenov makes me sad. He was the only one to ever wear that number in Sabres history up until now.
He's the reason I became a fan of hockey and a fan of the Sabres when I was 9 years old. I'm not mad at the guy for using that number or anything, it's just going to take some getting used to for a while.
