  1. Yea the buds do need to find another higher gear before the playoffs.

They put in a lot of effort and impressively beat the Oilers, then come out and lose to a lowly team like Buffalo.

Id love to see better consistency 😊😊

  2. Reilly needs to be gone in the offseason. He's become a defensive AND and offensive liability.

Edit* it's been like that for a while now. A season or two, the decline has shown.

  3. Rielly's gears: Slow, Slower, Rielly slow, Asleep, Dead.
Already at his highest gear, which is SLOW. 😫

  4. Best just to protect Morgan Reilly. Maybe he has anxiety from losing so many first round playoff series? He is a really nice & kind man. Move him off the Top Pairing role please.

  5. Really hope he gets injured before the playoffs. Morgan Reilly is garbage on fire. He never wins ever for a reason

  6. Put a shock collar on him, everytime he starts thinking he's a winger zap em

  7. Reilly is bad now. It doesn't mean bad forever. Sit him now while he is bad. Simple. No one owes him anything. Take a seat. This is about winning. Not being nice and encouraging.

  8. Red Kelly. Wendel Clark. Defensemen that have had success after converting to forward. Byfuglien is another one. Why not give Rielly a try up front? He's up ice all night anyway. And he's a pylon in his own end.

  9. Reilly is getting regular Pum Pum now with a long term contract, lots of cash and gold diggers and his game has gone to shite……happens to them all

  10. Maple Griefs are going to get swept in the first round……….and with all the UFA's coming in the next 2 years……done like dinner…..48 year drought…soon to be 49

  11. Is always best to put Defenseman up in forward position for awhile.
Objective is it depends up their reactions of making decisions and best of get in a GREATER Shape.
After awhile you drop him back to D… you be surprised How much they improved their 2nd gear and reactions to engage in the game faster.
But always REMEMBER to have meeting with the player first why you doing this…
I had certain D's while coaching there foot speed increases and reactions but of all gets them in better shape and they do develop a 2nd gear…
I do have certain NHL players playing still…

  12. The problem with Morgan Rielly is his game is too predictable.. He rarely shoots the puck on the power play… He gets caught up ice and makes tok many defensive blunders in his own zone that will ultimately cost the maple leafs the series… Remember something the leafs as a whole played a lot better defenseily when Morgan was out of the line up when he was injured.. Enough said

  13. The leafs , since around the times of the trades, have been incapable of effectively clearing dangerous pucks from thier zone….. they are trying to make plays in situations where they just need to clear the puck…. the turnovers are house league level.
And…… I really hate the Sandin deal right now.

  14. 90% expected goals against is enough to trade him in the offseason. If I’m Dubas that’s job # 1 after July 1st

  15. "Rielly's been good, really good in the playoffs" – I beg to differ. Last 2 playoffs he has been caught up the ice several times, putting pressure on the Leaf team and goalies and as a result they gave up key goals that lost them both series.
