Boston Bruins Trade Keith Kinkaid to Colorado Avalanche for Shane Bowers

The Boston Bruins make another trade just days after acquiring Dmitry Orlov and Garnet Hathaway from the Washington Capitals. The Bruins trade goaltender Keith Kinkaid to the Colorado Avalanche for forward Shane Bowers. In this video I break down this trade and talk about the NHL and AHL career of Bowers and Kinkaid. I also talk about the Bruins three young goaltenders Kyle Keyser, Brandon Bussi, and Michael DiPietro and how the goaltending depth chart looks now that Kinkaid has been traded.

  1. Bowers has legit upside and could develop nicely in the system. I also think Brandon Bussi is the goalie of the future more so than Swayman. Either way Bussi or Swayman could bring a decent haul in a future trade scenario IMO. And congratulations to Ullmark scoring a goal on the same night he records his first 30 win season! I love this team!!

  2. Imagine the Avs getting injuries to their starters and Kinkaid winning the cup with Colorado over the Bruins lol Won't happen, Bruins all the way

  3. It’s crazy to think the bruins could trade another goalie to pick up somebody for the deadline

  4. You know, at what PRICE do the players put into their hard work when you can get DUMPED at the Trade Deadline. You know, the Bruins have had an unrealistic season of sorts. But you know, its more about the 3rd line and the low ice time players that make or break a season. When your Butt Breakers come through big time, as has the Bruins last two lines. It makes things a lot easier for the Top Two Lines.
So now, you unceremoniously dump these character players that got you to an unheard of season for Closers. Why would you put yourself through making your Team great, only to be dumped at the finish line and no RING for the Stanley Cup. That's what is being done to these guys. They carried 90% of the Bruins season, only to be dumped at the last second and get nothing.
Sure its great to be an NHL player, but for some. This run to the Cup may be their only run and only chance for a Stanley Cup. And you just got dumped, JOE DIRT dumped.
