I give credit to this Bruins team. As a lifelong Detroit fan and not a huge fan of Boston, I can't stand the Black and Gold. Nevertheless since Marchand has traded in his antics for his potential and since Patrice Bergeron (ultimate leader) and guys like Pasta are leading this club, you can't help but respect the hell out of them. Now they've got Berts too? Here's a guy (whom I knew at the beginning of the season, before the 2 broken hands and the horrible slump due to injury, would be traded) who gives his all every night…well as long as he can travel. Covid joke aside, Berts deserves to be on a championship team if he can't be here in the D and Boston looks like a juggernaut. The East is going to be very interesting this year with Boston back on top, Pittsburgh waking up during the 2nd half of the season as usual, New Jersey showing beauty before age, and stacked teams like the Rangers with the addition of Kaner and some others (people sleep on 2 things – 1) Panarin was Kaners linemate back when Chicago was good last and 2) Panarin won the Calder OVER CONNOR MCDAVID – an albeit injured, 1st year McDavid). NY if they play their cards right could also be hoisting a cup in June. We'll see how it shapes up but alas, the record breaking Boston is the team to beat.
Good for Detroit kicking that grimy teams ass.Bunch of thugs posing as hockey players .They will do anything to win even hurt other players .Almost like Rangers with like 3 sticks to Penguins faces before they are even 5 min into the game .NHL better get refs in control. They are causing too many penalties to call .Malkin literally got cross checked in head laying on ice as tying goal scored which never should have counted.Have to start watching all games see if certain teams have same advantages or if league needs Penguins gone fearing another magical run cause it can go either way .
Fn Hextall. Heās such a little know it all prick. He loves hearing himself run his damn mouth. Not sure whoās more annoying to listen to, him or Leah. Probably him Iād say. Sheās terrible too, but at least she has to shut up in order for the play by play guys to call the game. But he never shuts up. He knows everything about everything. Just ask him. God heās annoying.
I despise Boston, but that was a classy move all around. Mad respect for Pasta and Bergeron might be the most underrated hockey player in the history of the NHL.
In Germany, we call somebody like him a german oak. Takes it right to the jaw. Shrugs it off. Small moment of reconsideration, then just skates to the bench casually. Does anybody have information if he suffered any injuries?
Btw: I love this kid. We've had a couple of good defenders, remember the Seidenbergs for example, but he is by far the biggest talent we have ever had as a defender. He will give the NHL more than decade of pure defensive skill, I'll make a bet he will win a Stanley Cup one day. He will be one of the greatest, mark my words.
I love how in hockey whenever a guy takes a shot up high like that everyone immediately stops and checks on him. They all know how dangerous that can be.

Fuck… The first three people to check on him were all Bruins.

i will miss Bertuzzi. Hes going to be a heck of a player for Boston.
Yeah -colors don't run, the players respect each other. Fans need to learn that.

Players are soft these days…you wouldnt see that in the 90s
Atleast my favorite player's okay
This is one of the main reasons I love hockey so much.
Just a class act all of the way.
And weāre coming.
But weāre nowhere near ready yet.
Thatās why Stevie made the moves he made.
But one of these daysā¦.
LGRW! šš„ š
And in the meantime, I hope Bert gets a cup with Boston.
Heās been through a lot,
and he deserves it. š
