  1. Brownie is right ! What the hell , 3 sharks standing there watching them take shots at their goalie ?? Looks like they gave up . If they hustled they could have got the rebound , went the other way and possibly won . No slap on the wrist , I want to see Quinn put them over his knee , a bare bottom spanking is in order !

  2. I get Brownie's frustration, after all three cross that blue line, their arms stop moving and they just coast towards the net. Your looking at a combined almost 20 million in salary between 48 and 65 on that play. It's a disgrace. But in the big picture, would of been better to not have to watch that trash backcheck and lost in regulation.

  3. They both tried to lose. The first pick is the only thing that matters. In my opinion. There's no point in winning. Both the Lakers and Warriors are both One injury away from getting Victor Way. From France. And losing 10 games in a row lol Who ever gets the first pick in the NBA draft Will have a chance to define basketball the next 10 years. The Sharks are doing the right thing losing games knowing there is no guarantee that they will get the first pick.

  4. Savage comment by Brownie at the start there. I completely agree I remember saying out loud "where did the backcheckers go?!" I figured they headed back to the room they were gone so long

  5. Totally correct Brownie, all 3 Sharks players slacked back on the 2 versus zero rush. At least rookie Eklund made a half hearted attempt to play some defense. Eric Karlsson and Tomas Hertl were completely MIA. Divas will be divas. Always interesting to watch those media jocks that level responses at honesty, those that will criticize the critic. You say "company man"?

  6. As soon as I saw the two back checkers go behind the net, I knew the game was lost. Curtis Brown has a right to be fired up about this. Then again, it has been an abysmal season for the Sharks. Lots to work on in the coming months, perhaps years.

  7. I know Brodie says the players don't do it, but maybe this time they had the presence of mind to think about the tank?

  8. I got to see behind the scenes a few months ago I can't believe we only hear the music on TV but man 6 to 5 is a crazy score

  9. It is surprising how Brodie performs a backflip to attempt to deflect the emphasis from Sharks lethargy off to the draft lottery. Remember Commissioner Bettman says repeatedly "there is no tanking in NHL".

  10. I know it is frustrating for ex-players, but for many fans like myself WINNING the Bedard Bowl game by losing was a welcome sight. Too bad they got the loser point. If they come last place, they are guaranteed one of the first 3 picks, in a year when the first 3 players are potential stars… or in Bedard's case, a generational superstar!

  11. That is Karlsson's D…that is how he plays. Almost always the last man between the goalie and the puck and he often carries it in by himself and often turns it over. Then he slowly skates back. I can't stand that guy because he doesn't care about the team. He doesn't think the team deserves the time or the puck to be able to make plays. He thinks he can do it all. Can't stand it!!!

  12. Brownie carved out a successful nhl career himself on hardwork and fighting tooth and nail for his teammates, you can really feel his frustration this season

  13. It really seems like the sharks are ok with losing at this point, we need a new captain who is shoresy like and some tough native enforcers ( I know "tough native" is redundant) because we need to hate to lose, we don't hate to lose and we need to prepare better this off-season physically with better conditioning

  14. Curtis has a right to be frustrated. I felt frustrated as well seeing them leave the goalie by himself to take on two players at once. That’s when I knew it was a wrap. I’m not on the tank for Bedard train so I want to see effort from the Sharks every game. Curtis, I 100% agree with you on this.

  15. The sharks stopped putting in effort years ago. It's just more apparent now that the team is an AHL team. They puck watch more than they skate. I would say it started around the reverse sweep by the Kings in 2014. I still remember a journalist asking Boyle if ''they'', the team, weren't putting in the effort and taking a game off because they where up 3 games. Anyone watching the game could tell you that is exactly what they did, but Boyle got mad and denied it. It might not have been planned, but effort is the easiest thing to spot in a game and they lacked it big time. Same thing with the Penguins in 2016. That was the worst effort I have seen from ANY team in the finals. As a sharks fan I was ashamed that my team was the reason for the worst finals I have ever seen. Then you got the Knights in 2018 where they lost 7-0 in the first game of round one in the playoffs. This team lacks accountability and has for a very long time. They can't even say the word rebuild.

  16. Brownie being savage! someone please show this to the whole team. I feel that Brownie would be the type of head coach that would disipline the players and constantly make them do suicides during practice

  17. Sharks need to tank for the possible opportunity for a 1st pick. Which would be a first.
