A statue of Backstrom and Ovi holding the Stanley Cup would be awesome. Maybe after they both end up in the HHOF they can put it up outside the arena. I do think he will get in based on the eye test (given he gets to 1000 points, he's at 974 now), but his lack of individual awards will make him wait a few years.
Backy and Ovi are like hand and glove. Backy deserves that type of recognition. Best duo by far in Caps history.

From Russia with love to you, Backy or Nicky, doesn't matter, you're great player. If it wasn't for you, Ovechkin would score 2 times less. I think you deserve much more deserve and respect you recieve. About recognition, you're recognized in our country for sure. And we love you for being such a great player and a such a humble person.
