In an eventful 1st period, the Panthers and Canadiens combined to score 10 goals, including 7 from Florida who set a franchise record for most goals in a period with 7!

Theres less goals scored playing pond hockey where the goalie is just the most tired guy on the team catching his breath in front of the net with no pads on.
