He didn’t ready for the hit because that’s what players do now at all playing levels because they know they can often draw boarding calls. Its utterly absurd.
I don't know if there are enough to make a compilation but it must have happened at least a few times. Goals called back that would have given the player a hat trick.

Wilson has long-since peaked and now struggles to stay healthy. It was easy to forget he’s still in the league this season. His game is not going to age well. And the more he degrades to a goon who scores the occasional goal the less of an excuse he’s going to have to not fight someone his size who can handle himself. Everyone saw how spooked Wilson was when Reaves focused on him. Since then all Wilson does is try to bully smaller players who aren’t good at fighting. He has a sick sadistic mean streak for no reason and zero respect for fellow players. That’s not being a tough hockey player. Contrast someone like Marcus Foligno who hits, fights, and scores a few goals, but does it with some class. You could never imagine Wilson letting up at the end of a one-sided beat down, let alone call in the linesmen when an opponent is done. Something is wrong with him mentally. What goes around comes around.
