It most definitely and sadly is the end of the road for Tazer. He played 15-16 seasons, won 3 cups. I honestly think he should have retired at the end of last season because he was out the whole year. While he did start out well this year he’s just gotten slower and slower. He’s done for sure

It really sucks so much of our core wasn’t able to go out on their own terms. I hope Toews can get healthy soon, he’s a legend forever.

Seabs LTIRetired, Keith traded then retired, Kane shipped off, Toews gonna be forced to retire. Wasn’t supposed to be like this. It’s a tough sport and those Hawks have a lot of miles on them. Thanks for the mems Toewzer, it was a helluva run.

Honestly thought this was a forgone conclusion. Retire at the end of the contract and join the management staff. I imagine he’s be great for player development a la Mario Lemieux

Three cups and 2 Olympic golds is a legacy any player should be thrilled to have. With his health the way it is this is not surprising. Thanks for everything Cap, 19 will be hanging in the rafters of the UC soon enough.

CIRS/Long Covid Syndrome is no joke. I know a person suffering from this and she’s in and out of the ER, 16 months post acute Covid infection.
