First solid game with 11 and 7 and it ended up being 10 and 7. Hope Acciari is okay.
I guess there’s one drawback of 11-7 I didn’t expect…some single digit IQ, clown looking mother fucker might sock one of our forwards in the gob.

I love games against Carolina. Always a good watch, even when they’re bad. But when they’re good, oh baby, look out.
I don’t think a single Leaf played badly. Everyone looked great.
And so tomorrow, I shall keep my expectations very very low.

Solid fucking showing by the boys in ~~blue~~ green tonight. Wins always feel that much better when the refs try and stack the deck against us.
Nylander looked a bit disengaged tonight – I’m expecting a big game from him tomorrow.
Even counting his shutouts, I think this was Sammy’s best game of the season in terms of positioning and not flailing for rebounds. Great control, great confidence.

Watched this game from Japan at 9am, first game in a week. I noticed no Holl immediately and Rielly played great and said “fucking finally, no Holl” to my non-hockey buddy lol How have the leafs been lately? Who’s playing well, etc?
Petition to rebrand the leafs to the St.Pats – keep everything the same as tonight. The crowd was great too. I hope the refs get more loud reactions going forward. The coaches and players can’t comment but the crowd was heard tonight.

I was impressed with Sammy, Schenn played his role like he should and that role we need in the any type of run. Our bottom six even down Accarai dominated the Canes tonight huge difference between the two. I’m really impressed with Rob as a coach…didn’t pull the goalie down 3 with a game in the US tomorrow night……….that was actually very wise, don’t let the opposing pad stats or hurt your boys. They aren’t gonna have a chat about it for a week, just drop the game and focus on the next one.
It’s almost as if the refs have a betting pool against the Leafs. Good win.
I know Schenn had several brutal giveaways tonight but if he crunches someone 5 minutes into game 1 like his hit on Aho the SBA is gonna erupt
