Whatever happens above ye, keep going Canucks.
This was a massive win, in the context of that is came against a team that look a certainty to make the playoffs. And it was in LA itself. They were clearly inferior, but they kept at it. Demmers was a brick wall in front of goal. Nothing was getting past him. And with more ideal games still to come, who knows?
I don't want people going on about the tank. Right now, they're taking these games to experiment and build their confidence and stats.
With or (most likely) without Bedard, I have high hopes for next season.

At about 9:23 when Kopitar was handling the puck in front of the net, and he couldn't decide what to do with it because he was facing Demko, that was a deciding moment in this game.

143 total saves, and a .966 SV% against the Kings in his career.
LA had 2 Power Plays and a Penalty Shot and couldn’t converge on any of them, and even though the one Power Play the Canucks had was a weak call, the Kings should’ve done a better job and killed it. Bottom line.
Thatcher Demko completely stole this game. GG Canucks. Kings, you have to win the next one.

Not calling for a review of the kick in goal looks like a great move for The coach of the Canucks cause it could have gone either way and even though I don't think that by any means he is a team tank guy, if they had lost all the tank fans would be praising the move, oh darn we challenged and weren't successful oh darn now we have another penalty oh darn we still kept it close our stars'got points and Demko was back to form, and with the addition of Bedard we are good. Oh no you say Demko won't play the rest of the season? and we have to bring the two rookies back to the team Oh darn. People just get Bedard out of your dreams cause even though he's a BC boy and we haven't gotten a no.1 pick from day one in 1970 ,we lost that to the Sabres. By saying that you want them to tank , it means that you Condon cheating in plain Trump like sight. Let them play and if by some kind of miracle were to get Bedard it would feel so much better. The real trick is to keep Demko healthy for the start of next season

As a honest Canucks fan I speak for everyone when I say this a Mickey Mouse win for us. We were supposed to lose in order to get bedard. It’s all right, the kings still own us when it matters the most.

Nice J.T. backhand and Kuz and Petey Demko healthy and in form, Bedard be damned. I don't care don't dirty our team by tanking and who knows. Whatever team gets him will probably not be instantly a powerhouse group and they'll have to let some of the previous top couple of players go just to figure out what their team identity will be. Look at how many top picks Edmonton got and now they only retain Nugent Hopkins and McDavid. One now plays Seattle one plays for Boston and YaCaput was a bust. Nothing is guaranteed
Kings played about 50% of their potential. They haven't lost in regulation in a while. Its hard to win all the time and keep that level of play so high every night, plus no Fiala or Durzi. Kings played 50% potential but still got a point. In playoffs Kings would sweep Canucks 4 straight, especially with Fiala back healthy.
Goes to show you how good kings are. If not for Anderson penalty Kings win..Kings can still be formidable playing at 60% potential. Canucks gave 100% and barely won. Hard to win weeks at a time in NHL without an off night. Good news is Kings will crush flames Monday.
