I have to think the NHL makes them improve their current product no? Their jerseys have been shit because they’ve cornered the “cheap, but at least it’s not a Chinese knockoff” market. This sounds a little like an overreaction, but I’ve only ever bought used jerseys anyway so what do I care.

…or you could wait until next summer right after the switch in which all the Adidas jerseys will be discounted at the Blue Line stores. That is how I got my blank and Foligno jerseys.
…OR, if they are going to do the same sale this year, Coolhockey runs a sale at the end of the season/during playoffs of their jerseys. That is how I got my Jenner jersey. The only “drawbacks” are it took about 3 months to get it shipped, but then again it is during the offseason and probably have to get through a large amount or orders due to the sale, and some sizes may not be available depending when you look at the site.

Is there any chance fanatics will step up and create an official jersey product that isn’t like the discount-rack version that they make now? I’m hoping the reason the NHL is eyeing them is that they have a branding and merchandising plan that will catch eyes and attention for the league with more of an investment than Adidas and Nike have/would.

Fanatics has been the uniform provider for the MLB and now the NHL. Cornering two of the four big sports leagues. I’m thankful we have regulations in place to prevent monopolization of industry. Phew /s
