  1. Stopped Skating, Shoulder to Shoulder (NOT HEAD) thats why Kuz's shoulder most likely popped out. Didnt leave his feet…… PERFECTLY GOOD HIT …. These caps announcers literally talk shit about anything that dont benefit the caps, but hey thats part of what they get paid for to be a pattsie to their team.

Perfect example of a shit pass in someones skates putting a guy right on the train tracks for a hit. Im happy Caps got the penalty on this.

Fights after these clean hits need to stop. Make better passes and keep your head up and you won't get crushed 🙂

  2. Great hit! Loved that Oshie answered the bell too, but I hate that Russian di<k Kuznetsov so I love it when he gets flattened. Keep doin your pretty bird dance when u score & you'll keep getting flattened B

  3. What’s weird about Kuznetov’’s injury is that it looked like he hurt is right shoulder, but it was his left side that got hit by Dumba. He must have been playing through a pretty significant injury already, and falling on his right arm just exacerbated an existing injury.

  4. Also worth pointing out that the league office reviews all these hits, and they agreed with the on-ice officials. Clean hit. Dumba wasn’t even given a fine asked to explain himself to DoPS. The way the rule is currently written is such that head contact is totally okay provided that it’s within the context of a full body check and no other infraction. Since Dumba kept his elbow tucked until after contact and kept his skates on the ice, there’s no other infraction here and the head contact is deemed incidental.

  5. I don't have a dog in this fight, and I never want to see someone get hurt, but that's a clean hit. It's a hard hit (Dumba is known to hit hard) so I'm sure Kuznetsov is hurt but I don't see any nefarious actions on Dumba's part. Elbow down, shoulder to shoulder (with incidental head contact after initial hit), feet on the ice, not charging. I get that it sucks for WSH fans, but that's just a hard hit (and sometimes you get hurt from those).

  6. Announcers are totally homers. Good job boys. You know where your next meal is coming from!

  7. Gotta keep your head up, right Caps fans? At least that's what the rest of the game hears from you when Wilson ends somebody.

  8. I’m a caps fan but hit was clean as day we need to stop being pussies we’re killing hockey although the 2 and the 10 to ish was terrible should be 5 and 5 call it a day

  9. high hit to the head but holds his shoulder, stop this crap with a clean hit and whining about it being a bad hit and it causing a fight rubbish. its getting boring now.

it was CLEAN and get your head up, blind side hit my arse, you clowns need to STFU YOU and your commentary is ruining sports

  10. Clean hit – 5 minute major? Wtf is the announcer talking about? It's not a blindside hot and he had his HEAD DOWN AND KNEES BENT….Dumba has to be like 6 inches shorter to NOT hit his head… They teach you to keep your head up and on a swivel back in Pee-Wees, especially when your breaking out of the zone… 100% a clean hit

  11. Caps fan here, the hit was clean. 2:55 shows shoulder-to-shoulder very clearly. That said, if Tom Wilson laid this hit people would be throwing tantrums left and right.

  12. Due to the rules this is a good clean hit. The shoulder was the main point of contact. With that said I understand the response and would do the same in their place
