It’s nice the lightning let far lesser teams have at least something to feel good about seeing as how the regular season is just a warm up for the real games for a team like the lightning.
As I learned many years ago when the Wings won back-to-back Stanley Cups and then lost to Pittsburgh, eventually all teams run out of gas with the extra games they played in previous seasons. Having watched the Bolts for six seasons, this year has given me zero confidence in a playoff run. Toronto will finally win one playoff round. Then Boston will put them out. And the fans and media will be happy with winning one round. That's what you get with low expectations.
