I'm trying to figure out what the hell Julien BriseBois is on because Tampa basically gave up a full draft for a 5 goal scorer. This trade makes zero sense for Tampa they could have gone for a guy with term on their contract like a Sam Lafferty. This trade should lead to more crazy deals such as high overpayment.

I like us trying to get some sandpaper into the middle six, but dayumn our defense is sure looking suspect for us to be adding forwards instead… the way JBB could have REALLY won this trade would have been to find a way to keep #27 instead of #17 during the previous offseason.

Jeannot is one of my favorite players and it sucks seeing him leave my team, but at least he's going to my 2nd favorite team, and Preds got a lot in return.
