why couldn't we package him with boeser or something… or at least get a 3rd round pick.. dude is a good player. i liked him in Vancouver the shitty thing is that ferland was signed for 4 years.. and only played 14 games… Vancouver is a hockey player graveyard
I'm not really sure why things did not quite work out with Lazar in Vancouver, and why the Canucks chose to move him out – he is on an reasonable contract with term to give some cap certainty, and yet the team chose to take on other contracts and now shred Lazar's reasonable cap hit for a low pick… can't say I understand the logic…

dhali is right trading away free agents u sign before a year is distasteful and the canucks will have harder time signing free agents in future.
real nice guy but he was brought in to improve the PK and it got worse after he got here.
