Likely an investigative technique. The innocent should and likely are outraged. I would expect more comments in the coming days. Let’s see if the media asks some tough questions. May sound dumb and I don’t mean to be insensitive at all but how did they know it was CHL players but not know who specifically. Did the victim know the perpetrators were all from the chl but unsure who? Or was it a CHL specific event? I’d assume the whole team would be out at the bars
